Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue (GSDR) is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming German Shepherds in need. Without our incredible volunteers to run events, foster dogs, drive transports, or tackle the countless tasks involved in running a rescue, there simply would be no rescue.
Whether you’re a dog lover looking to lend a hand or someone eager to make a difference in your community, we need you!

Volunteer Opportunities
There are so many ways to get involved! Below are just a few areas where we could use your help:
- Foster Homes: Provide temporary shelter, care, and love to a rescue dog until they find their forever home.
- Transport Drivers: Help safely move dogs to foster homes, veterinary appointments, or events.
- Training Resources: Share your expertise or help coordinate training for fosters and volunteers.
- Dog Walkers: Spend quality time walking and socializing our rescue dogs.
- Fundraising Coordinators: Plan events, drives, or campaigns to support our rescue efforts.
- Event Staff: Assist at adoption events, fundraisers, or educational outreach programs.
- Grant Writers: Help secure funding by writing compelling grant proposals.
- Graphic or Creative Designers: Use your artistic talents to create materials that promote our mission.
- Crafters & Bakers: Contribute handmade or homemade goods for fundraising events.
