Meet Cara! This 1-2 year old sable colored German Shepherd is a a spunky bundle of love!! She has a ton of puppy energy and is very playful. She is crate trained and has decent house manners.
Cara is great with other dogs, people, kids and ok with cats. She walks well on a leash and has some basic obedience. She can be leery and fearful in new situations but warms up quickly. She will need a family committed to a basic obedience class and continued socialization. In return, you will be blessed with a phenomenal companion for many years to come!!
Cara would be best with an active household with another large dog to wrestle with. Jogging, hiking, biking… she’s game!! She would also love a young human sibling to bond and play with. I see her doing well in agility or rally. At this time, she requires a fenced in yard or to be leashed while outside.
Cara is up to date on vaccinations, on HW preventative and microchipped. She will also be spayed prior to adoption.
Does this beloved girl sound like the perfect companion for you and your family??

Hello humans! My name is Jake. I am a 2 year old, 80 pound handsome man. I have so many great qualities- I like other dogs, cats, kids, and everyone else I meet. I am a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly. Don't have a fenced in yard? No problem! I have no desire to go to far away and I come when I am called. My mission in life is to make my humans happy! I am very calm, laid back dog. I love going for car rides- my longest trip was a 5 hour ride up north. When we went up north we spent a lot of time in the water and I loved it! I even went on a little canoe ride. I bet none of the other dogs you know have done that. I love laying in the water and would love a home with a little kiddie pool for me to hang out in. I do have one struggle that I have been working through- I get a little nervous when I get left alone. But my momma believes that once I am fully crate-trained, I will do well at home alone. However, my ideal home would be with either a retired couple, stay-at-home mom, or someone who works part-time. Please let me show you how good of a boy I am! I promise you will fall in love with me. Sorry Jake is not available for adoption at this time
Curly is a sweet boy, neutered and about 8 years old. Don’t let his age fool you, he loves to go for his walk/run on the trail and bounces his ball or toy around when he gets peppy, yet he is mild mannered. He is used to horses, other dogs, chickens and cats. He is great with small children who do not understand the proper way to approach an unknown dog. He is friendly to strangers, and you can take his food dish away without any disagreement. House trained, crate trained, nail trimming trained and is a wonderful walking/running partner as he does not pull. Loves to be with his human partner (follows me everywhere), loves to be brushed, bonds very easily to anyone and just loves to be a part of a family. Curly does require a fenced in yard, or tied when outside, as he does like to meet the neighbors. Invisible fencing would probably work well for him, however, he has not been tested with one.
Meet Luka, a young male German Shepherd, with a sable coloring. A bit of a pup still at 18 months old, Luka is looking for an active family who will keep up with his training. He has come a long way in his foster home, learning to play politely, working on manners and patience and how to walk politely on a leash. He knows basic obedience, and has caught on quickly to various skills. He loves his squeaky balls and has become a pro at two-toy fetch, sitting to trade for the other toy. He loves to carry plush toy babies around the house, and is gentle with them. He enjoys kids but he is a rough and tumble boy in some areas, so only older kids with large dog experience are recommended for him. He also is still learning all about sharing resources, which will take continued guidance in his new forever home.
Luka is a Velcro boy and very snugly. He is always right by your side, outside or inside the home. He will want to crawl right up on the bed to sleep with you. He is surprisingly quiet, even when small neighbor dogs bark at him while he is out in the yard or on walks. If he does bark, he is quick to come around when you call his name and have him focus on you. He absolutely loves car rides and is a great passenger, but still working on patience in not bolting out of the car. He meets new people nicely while on walks, but he does have a protective nature and has recently discovered that he can bark from the car at people outside or at someone he finds suspicious.
He has been very good with the female shepherd in his foster home. He will come on strong, so a new potential buddy will need to be patient at helping to keep up on his manners. Luka has seen cats at the local pet supply store and gotten excited, but he does not live with a cat in his foster home, therefore cats are an unknown.
